$185.00

This handmade leather plague doctor mask is the perfect addition to a historical costume. You'll definitely turn heads when you wear this face covering as an integral piece to your steampunk cosplay, to your local Ren fair, or even to pop by the grocery store! It would make the perfect masquerade accessory, gift for a history buff, or display piece for medieval enthusiasts.

This mask will be constructed from vegetable tanned leather that will be cut, dyed, and stitched completely by hand. Clear Plexiglas lenses will be affixed to the eye sockets. All edges will be burnished to smooth and seal them. All surfaces will be oiled to add shine and protect them from day to day use. A harness with buckle will be used for adjustability, stability, and comfort of wear. Holes will be punched at the bottom to provide ventilation.

This mask is completely custom made. Please select dye choice at checkout. I will contact you after purchase to discuss thread and hardware finish choices.

Disclaimer: While this mask may be used as a face covering, it is not intended to replace medical equipment and is not rated for medical grade use.
